Below, further proof that Rachel Maddow is water in a dry land.
(I know that's the reverse of an oasis, but just work with me here.)
Watch as former Republican congressman/non-journalist Joe Scarborough seems more focused on embarrassing and bullying journalist and Rhodes Scholar Maddow about "the English language" and her "Hillary cackle" (sexist much?), yet she stands her ground (largely, because she's the only one who's correct). Another thing - notice that Scarborough has the clip cut right before the sound bite that would prove Dr. Maddow correct:
Gotta love the "raise your hands" bit; I've never seen a more deliberate attempt to embarrass someone during a news show(on MSNBC's air, at least.) Here's hoping she'll tear him a new one on Countdown tonight. Listen to her radio show, 6-9 pm, weekdays.
