Never have I so openly rooted for a former Cleveland player to succeed elsewhere than I have this last week with Carsten Charles Sabathia.

Not Omar Vizquel, Jim Thome, Mark Price, Terrell Brandon...and certainly not guys like Manny Ramirez or Carlos Boozer.

So why did I find myself cheering when I saw CC crank his second bomb of the season, then strike out nine guys - even though he did it in a Milwaukee Brewers uniform?

Not sure yet. CC did refuse 18 huge (if thousand is "large", I can venture to make my own lingo) per year for four from the Tribe, and his move to remove the dots from "C.C." is very Puff Daddy/Puffy/Diddy-ish. But damn, dude can ball.

As long you aren't wearing a Yankees or Red Sox cap this time next season, we're good, big guy. (My money's on the Cubs or the Dodgers, the latter of which could actually use his hitting.)
