ESPN has an amazing piece on the Maryland star who died of a cocaine overdose less than two days after being drafted second overall by the Boston Celtics in June, 1986. The piece educates us about his even more amazing mother, Lonise, who, despite losing two sons, has not lost her faith. It also reminds us that he's been dead as long as he was alive.
Remember Len Bias, and his mother, this Thursday night when you watch the NBA Draft.
